STEPR Cycle XL Bike
The STEPR Cycle XL Bike is an air bike erg that rides like a road bike, seated and forward, with cadence and power doing all the talking. It takes flat shoes and SPD cleats, and the saddle moves on a ratchet when the next rider steps up. Resistance is air, handled by VPR across more than one hundred virtual gears, with no magnets and no motor behind the cranks. The frame is covered for ten years, parts for three and labor for two, and dispatch runs three to six days.

THE RESISTANCE
How it works
A magnetic trainer holds one curve until somebody moves a lever. On the Cycle XL the rotors change angle by themselves, so the load follows the pedal stroke.

How to use it
Pedals For Flat Shoes And Cleats
The Cycle XL takes flat shoes and SPD cleats, which covers the rider who clips in and the one who never will. Saddle height moves on a ratchet, so swapping riders costs a few seconds.
