NOHRD Bike Pro

The NOHRD Bike Pro is a professional indoor bike for continuous cardio training, with a solid wooden frame and a 14 in. touchscreen on its handlebar. A magnetic eddy current brake works on a 5.5 kg flywheel and adjusts continuously as you turn a control, so the load changes without steps. The touchscreen opens the NOHRD Bike Pro app, with training programs and virtual rides. Seat height runs from 90 to 112 cm and the handlebar adjusts in height too, so riders of different heights share one bike. It is rated for riders up to 200 kg (441 lb) and built in Germany in six wood finishes.

The saddle sits on the same universal bracket the rest of the NOHRD bike line uses, which takes the Brooks leather saddle and the comfort saddle. The handlebar carries an upright hold and a lower forward-leaning hold, with the screen between them.

A power connection is required, and a mains-powered bike runs on the power supply that comes with it or one NOHRD approves.

How it works

The Bike Pro is run from the handlebar, where the touchscreen sits, and loaded at the flywheel, where a magnetic brake sets the resistance.

The touchscreen sits on the handlebar and opens the NOHRD Bike Pro app, with training programs and virtual rides, and the bike pairs over Bluetooth.

Continuous Resistance
Braking is eddy current, applied magnetically with nothing in contact with the flywheel, and it is adjusted by a continuous turning motion. Nothing wears against the wheel: there is no pad to replace and no tension to reset between services. The 5.5 kg flywheel is driven through a planetary gear at a ratio of 1:8.

Wood Finishes

The Bike Pro is built in Shadow, Oak, Vintage, Club, Cherry and Walnut. The Oak version is solid oak, Cherry and Walnut are real cherry and real walnut, and Shadow is black-stained. Vintage is the aged character finish. The frame is the same whichever one you order, and the finish changes the room and nothing about how the bike rides.

Delivery

Installation

The Bike Pro arrives in three packages and is assembled where it will be ridden. One person assembles it in up to 45 minutes. The frame needs room on either side to get on and off, and two people handle the final lift. Accessories mount to the same points the rest of the bike line uses, and a bottle holder, a seat back or a comfort saddle can be added at any time. The crank bolts are retightened every 10 hours of riding.
