This bundle brings together the three pieces of Garmin's dive communication system: the Descent X50i dive computer, the Descent T2 transceiver, and the Descent S1 diver communication buoy. Built around SubWave sonar, the three components let divers exchange preset messages and monitor tank pressure, depth, and distance with up to 8 divers at once, while the S1 buoy extends that same picture to the surface team.
The Descent X50i is the hub of the system, with a 3-inch color touchscreen, a 20 ATM dive rating, and leakproof metal buttons built for repeated use in the water. Paired with the Descent T2 transceiver, it adds air integration, tracking pressure, depth, air consumption rate, and time remaining for up to 8 tanks, with the T2 itself dive-rated to 20 ATM. The T2 ships with an air spool and documentation alongside the transceiver. DiveView color maps preloaded on the X50i cover bathymetric depth contours for over 4,000 dive sites, and a built-in backup dive light adds a margin of safety in low-visibility conditions.
The Descent S1 buoy rounds out the system by giving surface teams a live view of the dive: tank pressure, depth, distance, and alerts for up to 8 divers, plus return-to-base direction tracking for divers wearing a T2-paired computer. It runs up to 15 hours on a rechargeable battery, connects to the Garmin Dive app over Wi-Fi within 60 m for two-way preset messaging, and stores post-dive heatmaps of exploration areas for review after you're back on the boat.
